Run By The Bay parking fee
Tuesday, May 20th, 2008Hope this clears things about the $6 parking fee for Run By The Bay. The club has no control over parking fees at the State Park. Race director tried is best to get the fee eliminated. Local management at the park has worked with us in the past and not charged for parking. The fee was mandated by the State (DNR) who in the long run operates the park.
The park is run by the state and not by the City of Bay City even though it’s called Bay City Recereation Area.
Hopefully in the future we will have advance notice of parking fees and we can add that info to the entry form so everyone can make a decision ahead of time.
