Bay Area Runners Club St. Patrick's Day Races!
Mark your calendars for March 16 and 17, 2013
Originating in historic downtown Bay City, we feel the event offers something for everyone, whether it be the Leprechaun Run for the youngsters, or the Challenge of a 5K run or walk. The St. Patrick's Day Race has become a staple for Midwest runners and is a perfect way to celebrate the return of another beautiful Midwest spring.
The course is flat and fast and has over 5000 participants and continues to grow every year. A marathon quality medal to all finishers of the 5K Run and Walk.
Race starts and finishes in downtown Bay City at the corner of Center Avenue and Madison.
5K Run begins at 11:45 a.m. and the 5K Walk begins at 11:50 a.m.
Registration
Online registration is the preferred registration method for the St Patrick's Day Race. It is a simple process to manage for the race committee and saves postage for race participants. However, we recognize that some people do not like online credit card transactions; Mail-in registration will be available for the St Patrick's Day event through March 8th. All mailed-in entries must be postmarked by March 8th.
Registration Form (Alternate/Mail-In registration method) - Download and print the form, make your check payable to the Bay Area Runners Club, and mail them to: BARC, PO Box 634, Bay City, MI 48707.
Late Registration/Packet Pick up:
Saturday, March from 10 am to 3 pm at the Bay County Community Center, 800 John F Kennedy Dr., Bay City MI, or Sunday, March at the Scottish Rites Masonic Center, 614 Center Avenue, from 8:30-10:30. Shirts are not guaranteed after . Credit or debit cards will not be accepted. Registration closes one hour prior to race to ensure all participants get to the start line on time.

Leprechaun Runs: Sat: 2:00 PM. Start
Start at 2 pm on Saturday, March at the Bay County Community Center, 800 John F Kennedy Drive in Bay City MI. Online registration is available now – through March 15th or on site from 10:00 am to 1:45 pm. , all kids get a T-shirt (not guaranteed after .)There is a 1/8 mile, ¼ mile and ½ mile race. All finishers will receive a medal. Parents may run with the children at no cost. Children may run more than one race at no extra charge, but will only receive one medal.
BARC Fitness Expo:
8th Annual BARC Fitness Expo is Saturday, March from 10 am to 3 pm at the Bay County Community Center. This is also packet pick up and late registration. Come early, first 500 participants will receive a giveaway when they pick-up their registration packet. Come shop, explore and enjoy some local merchants and entertainment.
Awards:
Awards are for Overall 1st. - 3rd., Masters 1st. - 3rd. and Top 3 in each age group for all races, they will be MAILED 4 weeks after race.
Results:
Results can be checked online on this site, or at www.gaultracemanagement.com or www.runmichigan.com.
